August sees the launch of the new Scents of the World fragrance collection from ethical beauty brand The Body Shop. This marks the company's first fragrance collection containing 100% organic essence and globally sourced natural extracts. The range consists of five scents: Madagascan Vanilla Flower featuring notes of amber, frangipani and vanilla from Madagascar; Amazonian Wild Lily with iris, orchid, papaya and Brazilian lilies; Japanese Cherry Blossom with Fuji apple and Chinese magnola, real Japanese cherry blossom; Indian Night Jasmine featuring sandalwood, violet leaf and orange blossom; and Atlas Mountain Rose, which combines citrus, spices and rose extracts from Morocco. The collection comes in EDT(£), 50ml fragrance mist (£7), 100ml body lotion (£9), 200ml body wash (£8) and 200ml perfume oil (£7).

The Emotional Brilliance range brings this form of exclusive mind therapy to consumers.

This color game is intended to unveil the colors one should wear to fulfil a need – spin the wheel and choose the three colors that stand out at that moment. Not because they are your favorite colors or because they match what you’re wearing, but because you are
drawn to them.

These three chosen colors will then be placed in the middle of the wheel in the order they have been picked. The first color choice
symbolizes your STRENGTH OR WEAKNESS; the second choice represents your SUBCONSCIOUS NEED; while the third choice is your TALENT and it is what you require to achieve your subconscious need.

The three chosen colors can be a liquid lipstick, liquid eyeliner or a cream eyeshadow. There are 30 products in the range and all are vegan. Indian Summer, when summer and fall meet for a brief, but gorgeous moment, the inspiration for Ken Downing’s Indian Summer Collection with Le Métier de Beauté for summer 2012.

“There is just something about the seasons mingling, when the nights begin to cool and the dog days of summer have gone to rest – bronzed skin lingers, but the shades of fall make their debut.” explains Ken Downing, Neiman Marcus’s Fashion Director. “It always brings me back to that Bianca Jagger, 1970’s Halston moment. It wasn’t just the clothing, it wasn’t just the makeup, it was how it all came together, so carefree, bohemian and easy. That is Indian Summer.”
