The NARS Pure Matte campaign, photographed by Creative Director and Founder François Nars, features Canadian model Heather Marks. Under Nars’s direction, makeup artist Diane Kendal designed a makeup look that emphasized a bold and matte lip. The end result is audacious, sultry and sophisticated.

Kendal began by applying Siberia Sheer Matte Foundation to the center of the face and blended outward. Vanilla Concealer masked imperfections. Snow Loose Powder was pressed into skin and the Botan Brush buffed away excess powder. Using the Yachiyo Brush, she applied Desire Blush to the apples of the cheeks and blended up towards the temples. For the eyes, Abyssinia Single Eyeshadow was brushed onto the lids with the Eyeshader Brush, followed by Blondie Single Eyeshadow into the crease with the Large Dome Brush to achieve depth. The inner corners were highlighted with the left side of All About Eve Duo Eyeshadow using the Eye Contour Brush. Iceberg Eyeliner Pencil lined the inner membrane of the lower lash line and Nuits Blanches Eyeliner Stylo created an impactful upper lash line. Brows were defined by applying Blondie Single Eyeshadow with the Brow Brush. To complete the look, two coats of Larger than Life Lengthening Mascara were applied to the lashes. Jungle Red Lipliner Pencil was used to define the shape of the lips. To create the luscious matte hue, Vesuvio Pure Matte Lipstick was swiped directly onto the lips.

Marcel Wanders–industrial designer extraordinaire–will team up with MAC Cosmetics in their annual couture/luxe collection.  In case you’re unfamiliar, this luxe launch anniversarizes such collections as Stylistics, Monogram, and Baroque Boudoir.

These luxe collections are always priced significantly higher than your typical MAC collectio (e.g. $22 for a lipgloss) — I don’t have many details on products or pricing here, but if the theme/preliminary image grabs you, just beware that you’ll need to set aside a lil’ more than usual.  The compact looks to be the Sheer Mystery Powder, which they launch in every luxe collection.  There is also Air of Style concentrated perfume, a specially packaged brush (looks like the 187), clutch, and four lipsticks and lipglosses to round it out.

MAC Cosmetics said Wednesday that the company is partnering with DC Comics’ Wonder Woman to create a limited edition colour cosmetics collection featuring the illustrated superhero. Set for a spring 2011 launch at all MAC locations worldwide, the lineup is expected to include lipsticks, eye shadows, blush and nail polish ranging in price from $13 to $49.50. (No word on whether metal-deflecting bracelets are part of the collection.)

I have purchased from Boots,   I do not usually buy from MAX FACTOR, but it is not a bad brand, they have some products which is better than most of the high street brands,

I love their pan stick which has an extremely well coverage. their liquid concealer is as good as MAC Select Moisture Cover, their old packing is nearly the same as MAC Select Moisture Cover

I just checked MF website to see if i can find a picture of the concealer i am talking about but

it is been so long that i did not buy from MF, i did not even notice that it discontinued,

I am not sure why companies discontinue their best products?

 

Ok Lets go back to our topic, MF Silky Gloss in Satin pink is a lovely shade of Pink,

it has a nice scent i think it smells like vanilla,

And it is long time i bought this, there is not even a small leak on the bottle no cracks, and the product is still healthily

MAX FACTOR POWDER BALL EYE SHADOW REVIEW

I have purchased this from Netherlands few years ago and at that times MAX FACTOR did not release these shadows in Europe Yet, If i did not bought it from a store in Amsterdam@ Magna Plaza I would think that it is fake,

 

Because MF has just realised these powder eye shadows

 

I am not really a MF fan i have used their Calorie 2000 Mascara when i was younger and few of their glosses,

 

 

 

this shadow reminds me old style eye shadows, ages ago Avon and Orifilame used to have those kind of eye shadows,

 

 

 

But to be honest i liked the style and the colour, if i compare it with other loose shadows i like it, i am in love with this nice green colour,

it is easy to use this shadow, small enough to carry in a bag, you do not need to blend it with an brush,

 

 

I do not know abouut the name of the shades,  label is gone off
