French fashion designers Lanvin have announced that they are set to release a limited edition version of their ‘Jeanne’
‘Jeanne La Rose’ is said to be ‘more romantic’ and ‘more couture’ than the original scent, and features top notes of hints of raspberry, rose petals and redcurrant, middle notes of white musk, and base notes of vetiver and cedar wood.
The fragrance was created by top perfumer Olivier Pescheux, and is extremely light and feminine.
‘Jeanne La Rose’ follows in the footsteps of a number of extremely popular rose based fragrances which include Dolce & Gabbana’s Rose The One, Rose by Paiul Smith, and the solid rose perfume by L’Occitane.
Rose based fragrances have been a staple in many women’s perfume collections for many years now, and ‘Jeanne la Rose’ will no doubt be no exception.
With its airy notes, ‘Jeanne La Rose’ is the perfect scent for women of all ages, and is ideal for both day and night wear.
The fragrance is expected to hit shelves in March 2010- making it the perfect scent to get your spring off to a fresh and floral start.
